Dr Peter Selvaratnam AM 
Dr Peter Selvaratnam AM, A/C Professor is a Specialist Doctor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the Melbourne Spinal and Sports Medicine Clinic and an A/C Professor at The University of Melbourne.
Dr Selvaratnam’s PhD (Anatomy) research work on the neck and referred neural pain led to collaborative work with dentists on the connection between the TMJ region and cervical region. He subsequently conducted research on Characteristics of TMD headache – a systematic review with two colleagues, and published a book on Headaches orofacial pain and bruxism: Diagnosis and multidisciplinary approaches to management with Dentists, Specialist Physiotherapists and Medical Specialists.
Peter studied Acupuncture in Sri Lanka and has been conducting dry needling workshops to Physiotherapists and Dentists. Peter also presents at the ANZAOP conferences on TMJD and bruxism.
