Planning your first implant surgery can be stressful but a thorough examination, clinical assessment and diagnosis of the patient are key to effective implant treatment planning.
This webinar will focus on the aspects to closely examine when assessing an implant candidate in order to provide the best outcome.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- identify suitable patients for implant therapy
- gather clinical findings and implement these into proper case selection
- know what to do if predictable outcomes cannot be met

Dr Larissa Ong
Dr Ong completed her specialist postgraduate training in Periodontics at the University of Melbourne. Her special interests are in soft tissue grafting and gingival (gum) recession coverage procedures, the non-surgical and surgical management of periodontal disease and dental implants. Dr Ong is the current President of the Australian Society of Periodontology Victorian Branch and educational committee member of the Australian Osseointegration Society. She has served as a clinical demonstrator and examiner in the field of Periodontics for dental students.
