Governance
The Australian Dental Association Victorian Branch (ADAVB) is governed by elected members who are empowered to set its strategic direction, vision and high-level operation.
Strategic Plan 2024-27
July 2024 marks the beginning of new strategic plan for ADAVB. To create our 2024-27 plan, we took a step back from all we have achieved, and all that is changing in the world of dentistry and oral health and reflected on our role as the professional association for dentists. We engaged with external stakeholders as well as drawing on our expert knowledge to create a new plan that will ensure a strong future for the association. In order to increase our support for the professional lives of our members, and to strengthen our impact on the oral health of the Victorian community, we are now focused on three core areas that each have action plans to move them forward. The core areas are enhancing member value, collaborating to strengthen oral health and internal capacity. As with all strategic plans, we will continue to resource the wide range of ongoing services, supports and advocacy that is a hallmark of ADAVB’s leadership whilst we build our new future in partnership with our members and others who are passionate about oral health.
