More funding for the Victorian Get Active Kids Voucher Program
In October, the Victorian Government announced more funding for the Get Active Kids Voucher Program, which helps eligible families to get their kids involved in sporting activities again.
The program offers reimbursement for organised sports expenses up to $200 including mouthguards for sports where they are listed as required equipment. Children aged 0–18 years of age named on a Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card and Medicare card are eligible. Temporary or provisional visa holders, undocumented migrants and international students can apply through a special consideration stream.
Eligible expenditure dates are from 1 January to 30 November 2021. Applications close on 30 November 2021 at 5pm and previous recipients can reapply. Visit getactive.vic.gov.au/vouchers for more information.
